A lottery will be held to randomly award seats at WWCS for spots that become available for the next school year.  For grades 1-8, the lottery is run in February roughly 6 months before the school year applied for.  For kindergarten, the lottery is run in the February that is 18 months before the school year in question.  For example, for the kindergarten group for the 2027-28 school year, the lottery is run in February 2026.  For grades 1-8, the lottery for the 2027-28 school year is run in February 2027.  Applications are posted at the beginning of February each year, and the lottery is run by the end of the month.  Notifications of acceptance for grades 1-8 are not sent out immediately, but are sent as the school is notified of spots that are opening because of current students withdrawing from the school, which can happen anytime between spring and end of summer.  For kindergarten, notifications are sent in September, one year before the school year in question.

Parents may submit an application for enrollment by clicking the link on this page, for the year you are interested in.

Wasatch Charter School accepts between 60 and 110 new students per school year, with 60 to 75 seats available in each year's kindergarten.  In grades beyond kindergarten, the school typically accepts an additional 50-70 new students, with an average of between 2 and 8 openings in each grade, grades 1-8, each year.
