Coach Janessa has led the Girls Cross Country Team to Back to Back State Cross Country Championships in 2020 and 2021! Here is a little about her:I am a Utah Native and have never wanted to live anywhere else. I grew up in Davis county and have always loved hiking, biking, running and camping in our beautiful mountains.I have a BA in English from the University of Utah and have had various jobs over the years
either working with kids or animals. I love reading and always have a book on hand. I love running, especially trail running and have run several half marathons and Ragnar Relays. Our team took third place in the Tetons last year! I have a passion for exercise and love to share that passion with others. Over the summer, I led an outdoor morning workout for a few of my neighbors a couple of mornings a week. I’m a mother of two Wasatch Waldorf students, a daughter in 6th grade and a son in 3rd grade. We enjoy camping and exploring nature as a family. I’ve been a 3rd/4th grade assistant at our school for the last 4 years. I love our school community and have a heart for children and Waldorf Education.
