Michelle Woods

My name is Michelle Woods. I moved to Utah in 2018 and started my journey as a Waldorf class teacher. I teach the Magnolia Class.

I was introduced to Waldorf education as a parent in 2009 when my oldest child started kindergarten. I knew from the day she started at her Waldorf school that I would one day become a Waldorf teacher.

I graduated from California State University Sacramento with a degree in liberal studies in 2003. I earned my Utah State Professional teaching license in 2020. I graduated from Gradalis with my Waldorf teaching certificate in January of 2021. I love the Waldorf pedagogy.

I am excited that I get to journey through the grades with my class. On my off time I enjoy spending time at the beach with my husband and four children.

Our highest endeavor must be to develop free human beings who are able of themselves to impart purpose and direction to their lives. The need for imagination, a sense of truth, and a feeling of responsibility-these three forces are the very nerve of education
