Reminder about school start time
We are seeing a significant spring slide in our drop off time in the mornings. We are having so many cars arrive between 8:30 and 8:35 that we are needing to leave the chains down in order to continue letting cars through the drop off line until 8:35 or even after. This means that many students are getting into the school between 8:35 and 8:40, and teachers are not being able to start their classes on time. Remember that school begins at 8:30, so drop off should be completed by then! You can arrive for drop off as early as 8:05am, and drop off time officially starts at 8:10 (meaning students can start getting out of cars at that time, and cars can start moving through and out of the drop off area at that time). Please help us to have school start on time in every class by bringing your students to school on time. If you plan some extra minutes into your morning and get to the drop off line by 8:20, there is usually very little traffic up until that time and you can move through very quickly!
Looking ahead: Next week's schedule
There is no school on Friday April 30, for a teacher work day. For in-person students, there is school on the usual schedule on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (April 26-28). School is at home, online, on Thursday April 29, and there is no school on Friday April 30. For online students, there is school on the usual schedule Monday through Thursday (April 26-29), and no school on Friday April 30. School resumes on Monday May 3.
