Michelle Simmons
I have been in classrooms for many years in private, public, and charter schools. I have had classes of 4 and classes of 33. I have worked with children from 2 years old through 8th grade. I have even had my own school. I have Montessori Certification as well as Waldorf Certification. I hold Teaching Licenses in two other states.
When I'm not at school in the company of so many brilliant people and birds, I share my space with two small dogs, a big cat, two goats, my 16 year old daughter, and my husband. I love to cook, hike, create, dance, and laugh.
My favorite books are The Little Prince, Alice in Wonderland, and Winnie the Pooh. They remind me of the wisdom of the young and the often absurdity of "grown ups." I hope I never become fully grown up.
